Professional Helicopter Services (PHS) was established in 1981 and is now one of Australia’s leading helicopter companies operating from bases in Melbourne, Gold Coast and Central Australia. The company services a multitude of rotary wing operations including Pilot Training, Film and Video Production, Emergency Services including Bush Fire Support, Power Line support, Charters and Tourism Flights.
Over the past 40 years, PHS has continuously grown and now manages a fleet of over 30 helicopters. PHS operates Australia’s longest running pilot training school offering training from Initial Training to Advanced Instrument and Night Vision Training for numerous helicopter companies and government agencies across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

PHS carries over 90,000 passengers per year in its tourism operations, making it one of the largest helicopter tour operators in the country. phs is also the exclusive helicopter provider for various internationally acclaimed events including the formula 1® australian grand prix, the australian motorcycle grand prix and the australian international airshow.
